The Copilot
Describe what you want and the Copilot builds the graph: nodes wired, models chosen, prompts written. It asks before it spends anything.
It lives inside a workflow
This is the thing that trips people up. The Copilot is not on the dashboard. Open or create a workflow first, and it is in the panel on the right. It cannot create a workflow from the dashboard, and that is deliberate: it builds on a canvas, so there has to be one.
What to ask for
Be specific and it goes much further. "Three Instagram posts for a matcha brand, same bottle, different light" gets you a graph. "Make me some ads" gets you questions.
- Tag a node with $name to tell it which one you mean.
- Tag a Brand Kit item with @handle to pull a specific photo in.
- Attach a product photo with the clip, and it wires it into an Image Source for you.
What it runs on
A Gemini or OpenRouter key, or a plan you already pay for: a ChatGPT plan through Codex, or a Claude subscription through Claude Code. The two plans cost nothing beyond the subscription. Pick which in the composer, or in Settings under Connect an agent.
Flowgen never sees a login for either plan. It runs the vendor's own command line tool under your own sign-in, and no token is read, stored or forwarded.
It asks before it spends
The Copilot will build and rewire as much as you like for free. It will not press Run without asking, and it says roughly what a run costs before it does, because the money is yours and it is spending it on your provider key.
